Question: It is argued that terrorism breeds in poverty and the reverse is also true. Do you agree? How to stop such kind of terrorists who are not motivated by ideology but pushed by poverty? Critically analyse. (200 Words)
Answer: Recent captured Pakistani terrorist reveals the fact that poverty is main reason for them to join in Terrorist activities. It is equally true that the terrorist think tank in the Pakistani is able to lure the poor youth towards terrorist activities by showing financial assistance.
There is great possibility for the controlling such people who are ideological not inclined towards terrorism, they need money for their survival and to support their families. Government should serious look into issue and providing employment activities in such regions. Societies have to be educated about the consequences of the terrorist activities. Both religious and educational institutions have to play critical role to strengthen moral values in the society. Imparting education, particularly targeting the economical backward sections will help the youth to understand the vagaries of unlawful activities including terrorism.
It is also important that people who breed on the economically backward group, will try to foil the government or any agencies activities to up left the society. To initiate any change in this direction, it is very important to eliminate the people who try to harvest the poor economic conditions of the weaker sections.
